GRAPHIC FOOTAGE AND LANGUAGE. On September 11 2001 351 firefighters and EMTs and 60 police officers lost their lives trying to rescue victims of the World Trade Center attack. In all 2974 innocent people lost their lives. This video is a tribute to those heroes on the 7th anniversary of the terrorist attack.

DISTURBING FOOTAGE. This is one of the most tragic fires in Cleveland history. Our condolences go out to the family of the eight children and one adult who lost their lives in this house fire. The reaction of the survivors is hard to watch. Even the Battalion Chief is overcome with grief and is helped to the squad by two of his firefighters.

Rockford Illinois firefighters arrive on scene of a fully involved garage attached to a large 2 story home around 930 p.m. Engine 4 quickly pulls a booster line followed up by several working lines as additional companies Q5 E10 L1 arrive to this rather remote cul de sac on the citys far northeast side of town. Positive pressure ventilation is immediately established at the front door of the structure and helps to keep the fire from advancing into the house. Engine 11 responds as the third engine on the second alarm.

This is a tribute to Rockford Fire Department District Chief Kevin McIntyre. McIntyre joined the Fire Department in February 1980. He was promoted to lieutenant in January 1987 captain in January 1993 and was named district chief in January 1996.
